CDBG - DR Policy Specialist - PS

CSRS is currently seeking a talented and highly motivated professional with knowledge and expertise in the administration of Community Development Block Grants – Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) funds to support post-disaster recovery efforts. The CDBG-DR Policy Specialist (PS) is responsible for managing strategy and projects funded by CDBG-DR under the U.S Department of Housing and Urban Development and coordinating with other applicable Federal disaster recovery programs. The PS will work with state and local grantees in the administration and implementation of those funds. The PS performs a broad range of tasks with the focus of maintaining oversight and effective implementation of disaster recovery programs and projects. The PS will serve an expert on policy and regulatory issues, developing written materials, overseeing staff, providing training and technical assistance, and working directly with the client to provide advisory/consulting services.

Civil Engineer - Land Development

CSRS is seeking a Civil Engineer Intern to join our growing team in Baton Rouge, LA. A successful candidate will have the opportunity to be responsible for planning, design, permitting, preparation of specifications, sewer design, stormwater calculations, and technical reports for a variety of land development projects. Damage Assessor

CSRS is seeking Damage Assessors to support our Municipal clients in Puerto Rico on the Hurricane Maria recovery. The Damage Assessor will have primary responsibility for all tasks related to the inspection and documentation of all storm-damaged facilities and infrastructure and will work as part of a damage assessment team.

Project Manager-Land Development

CSRS has an immediate opening for a civil engineering Project Manager with equivalent experience, specializing in land development-specific projects. The ideal candidate would have experience with managing projects, client communication, staff and business development as well as the ability to plan, design and coordinate projects beginning through completion.

As a Project Manager, you will represent CSRS in all communications with the client from initiation through the entire course of the project including closeout. You will be responsible for managing CSRS projects in its entirety as well as all details involved. Emphasis of civil engineering experience and knowledge is expected to be in site development, grading, utilities, and drainage design.
