CSRS is currently seeking a talented and highly motivated professional with knowledge and expertise in the administration of Community Development Block Grants – Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) funds to support post-disaster recovery efforts. The CDBG-DR Policy Specialist (PS) is responsible for managing strategy and projects funded by CDBG-DR under the U.S Department of Housing and Urban Development and coordinating with other applicable Federal disaster recovery programs. The PS will work with state and local grantees in the administration and implementation of those funds. The PS performs a broad range of tasks with the focus of maintaining oversight and effective implementation of disaster recovery programs and projects. The PS will serve an expert on policy and regulatory issues, developing written materials, overseeing staff, providing training and technical assistance, and working directly with the client to provide advisory/consulting services.
