CSRS Board Member

D. Randolph Waesche (Randy) has spent 42 years as a financial consulting pioneer. He is active professionally and in the community, serving on numerous committees and Boards. Professionally, he is a former national board member for the Institute of Certified Financial Planners, the predecessor of the Financial Planning Association (FPA), and serves as a judge at the University of Vermont’s Global Family Enterprise Case Competition. Civically, Mr. Waesche served on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee for the Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center for 13 years and continues to serve on the finance committee. He served on the Board of Directors of the Northshore Community Foundation and is currently on the Board of WWNO, the local NPR affiliate. He has served on the Boards of the Lake Pontchartrain Basin Foundation, the West St. Tammany Parish YMCA, and the St. Tammany Parish Economic Development Foundation.


In addition to his wealth management activities, Mr. Waesche has a subspecialty in family business advising. He has earned Fellow status with the Family Firm Institute and certificates in Family Business Planning and Family Wealth Advising. Money and WORTH magazines have recognized Mr. Waesche as among the top financial planners in the country.


Mr. Waesche holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Regis University in Denver, Colorado, with a major in Ecology and a minor in Chemistry, English, and Biology. He earned his designation, Certified Financial Planner, in 1977 from the College of Financial Planning in Denver, Colorado.
