The 2018 Louisiana School Board Association (LSBA) Conference was held on Wednesday, February 28th through Friday, March 2nd at the Crowne Plaza in Baton Rouge. The Louisiana School Boards Association, a federation of the public school boards of Louisiana, has developed into one of the most active and effective educational organizations in the State. The Association has sponsored progressive school legislation, advocated improved teaching through increased salaries for teachers and administrators, adopted a code of ethics for school board members, and has stressed that efficient public schools are the foundation of American democracy. The Association recognizes that public schools will be efficient only if the teachers, administrators, and school board members are efficient.
For several years, CSRS has participated in the conference as a Silver Sponsor. Ed Jenkins, Director of Program Delivery for Educational Facilities, received an award of recognition on behalf of the company for the continued support and dedication to LSBA and the K-12 programs throughout the state. Congratulations to the group of individuals who participated in the conference and made this yet another successful event!
