Blue Ammonia Facility

A Confidential Client is currently in FEL1 for a Blue Ammonia Production Plant, to be located in southeast Louisiana, that will have an annual capacity of 200,000 – 500,000 TPY. The capacity will be finalized during early FEED. The project includes Blue Ammonia production, ammonia storage, a new ammonia loadout dock, a carbon capture unit, CO2 conditioning for pipeline transfer, and C02 sequestration.

CSRS is providing Owner’s Engineer services to the project’s investment firm. We are providing oversight of the FEL1 engineering provider. CSRS is involved in review of the process technology selection, site logistics, basis of design documentation, product storage, major equipment recommendations, pipeline interconnects, dock facility design, utilities and project infrastructure. Additionally, the schedule and project cost will be reviewed and evaluated for the client.

CSRS has developed a permitting strategy, permit matrix, scope of work and schedule and is poised to begin both state and federal permitting at the next project phase.
