Jacobs/CSRS sponsors Habitat for Humanity’s Women Build Day

The Jacobs/CSRS team was happy to sponsor Habitat for Humanity’s Women Build Day. Our team worked hard and thoroughly enjoyed contributing to our New Orleans community. The hardworking young women that will live in the houses built were genuinely grateful. They each have two jobs and go to school to create success in their lives.

"We made an impact in their lives, they made an impact on us, and we believe they will make an even bigger impact on our community,"

- Lona Edwards Hankins, Director of Capital Improvements at Recovery School District.

Habitat for Humanity's Women Build program has been in place since 1991. Volunteers have come together to build stronger, safer communities. With the guidance of construction professionals, volunteers work together and side-by-side with future Habitat homeowners. The Women Build events give women the opportunity to positively serve and help other women in their community.
