Yanez Moree and Burton Perkins attended the 2018 National Restaurant Association (NRA) Show this past week in Chicago. Each year, the NRA Show provides an opportunity for attendees to discover the latest innovations in the food and beverage industry and network with over 66,000 food service professionals from around the world. This year’s show featured a jam-packed schedule of over 100 events that took place over 4 action-packed days.
As architects, Nez and Burt found themselves among a special assembly of many restaurateurs, buyers, vendors, and venture groups. They used the 4-day experience to share with other attendees CSRS' firm belief in sustainable architecture, design for adaptive reuse, and extensive experience in creating highly-functional, chef-friendly restaurants. It was an excellent opportunity for Nez and Burt to explain how CSRS' innovative technology and passion for design creates inspirational and one-of-a-kind appealing spaces for growing their businesses.
Though not on a specific product-buying pursuit, Nez and Burt found significant advantages in talking with vendors about the various products that our clients use on their projects. Nez and Burt gained valuable information about the source of materials, production, factory locations, availability per region, and more. It was an exciting and valuable learning experience for each of them!
